Term Description

A patient's immunization record includes information about the immunizations given to date and may also include information about doses that are due in the future. Data about immunizations that have already been administered include the name of the vaccine and the date given, and may also include the dose, site of administration, manufacturer, lot number, and the name of the healthcare provider. Information about future immunizations may include the name of the vaccine and recommended administration date, as well as accelerated administration date.
