Prunus persica recombinant (rPru p) 3
Active
Description
Pru p 3 is a non-specific lipid transfer protein (nsLTP). nsLTPs are panallergens that have a ubiquitous distribution in tissues of many plant species, resulting in variable degrees of cross-reactivity, and in particularly relevant cross-reactivity in fruits and vegetables.
Pru p 3, possibly along with other larger proteins, is involved in allergenic relationships with other fruits from the family Rosaceae, particularly Apricot, Cherry, and Plum.
