Description

Oncogenic (high risk) human papillomavirus types behave as carcinogens in the development of cervicalcancer and other anogenital cancers. High risk types (which include types16,18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 68, 69, 73, 82) can cause low-grade cervical cell abnormalities, high-grade cervical cell abnormalities that are predecessors to cancer, and anogenital cancers.
