Description

As a first step of the patient nutrition care process, five categories are evaluated: 1) food and nutrition related history, 2) anthropometric measures, 3) biochemical data, 4) medical tests and procedures, and 5) client history. This information is compared to criteria, relevant norms and standards for interpretation and decision making. This then is the base for the nutrition diagnosis statements.
