Description
T cell and B cell crossmatching assesses recipient antibodies against organ donor HLA and other antigens. T cell and B cell crossmatching results may be reported separately or combined to report the overall interpretation. For example, if T cell crossmatch results are positive and B cell crossmatch results are positive, the overall interpretation is positive. If one result is negative and the other is positive, the overall interpretation is undetermined and further investigation is needed. Source: Regenstrief LOINC
