Active
Description
Sphere measurement increment is the specificity to which an ophthalmologic device can measure the sphere diopter, typically 0.25 diopters, but may be as small as 0.01 diopters. For example, a 0.25 diopter increment allows measurement of 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0 diopters, etc., while a 0.01 diopter increment allows finer measurement to a hundredth of a diopter.
