Nitrogen [VFr/PPres] Airway adaptor --during inspiration
Active
Term Description
The IEEE 11073 Standards Committee does not distinguish between measures of gas concentration reported as partial pressure and volume percent because they can be converted from one to the other under the law of gases. To make it clear that these could be reported either way, LOINC presents the property for these terms as both a volume fraction and a partial pressure (VFr/PPres), with corresponding units of %{vol} and mm[Hg], respectively.

Part Description
LP15746-8 Nitrogen
An element with the atomic symbol N, atomic number 7, and atomic weight 14. Nitrogen exists as a diatomic gas and makes up about 78% of the earth's atmosphere by volume. It is a constituent of proteins and nucleic acids and found in all living cells.
